No Animal Left Behind said...: that's exactly what happened...the former owner was on the news last night saying that she gave her cat to a friend and she doesn't know how it ended up at the shelter.
The friend probably wasn't concerned enough about the cat and I would bet that the cat was found at or near his former home.
